Along with its operative subsidiaries, BKN biostrom develops, plans and
implements biogas plant projects throughout all of Germany, especially in the East
German states. The business process includes the entire value creation chain,
from site location search, through applying for permits, financial planning
management to long-term operations management. The only stage in the value creation
chain the company does not deal directly with is the construction of the plant
itself. By collaborating with the most recognized plant construction companies
in the field, BKN biostrom remains independent from any manufacturer.

biostrom Energiesysteme GmbH & Co. KG plans, develops and implements biogas plants based on renewable resources up until the stage of delivering turnkey plants. The company is especially interested, along with their project development business, in forming long-term business relationships in terms of business administration management and support services for the plants.
biostrom Service GmbH & Co. KG
biostrom Service GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for technical support services for biogas plants . Along with many years of experience in power plant technology, the company's staff also boasts exclusive expertise in biological process support and optimization of the extremely sensitive biochemical processes that take place in a biogas plant . In addition to servicing their "own" plants, the company also offers optimization services for "third-party" plants.
biostrom Versorgung GmbH & Co. KG
biostrom Versorgung GmbH & Co. KG takes on the responsibility of supplying a portion of the biogas plants developed in the projects planned with the substrates they require for operation. For this purpose, the company leases agricultural land for longer periods of time, on which corn and grain is cultivated.
